Star Wars: Insurrection is an upcoming story written by the user Tsar, his first work. It is set partially in the Imperial Sith War but primarily during the Second Imperial Civil War. The story follows Captain Malcor Ashen, a third generation Imperial Army officer, as he fights for the Fel Empire and the following New Galactic Empire of Darth Krayt.

As of November 2013, it has been put on hiatus.

Insurrection ''The two galactic superpowers, the Galactic Alliance and the Fel Empire, were at a standstill for several years. A silent cold war went on between the Alliance and the Empire, as each tried to convince worlds to come to their side. And, inevitably, a real war occurred. The Alliance fought well, but were on the verge of defeat as more planets left to join the Empire. As the Empire regains it's position of the dominant galactic power, the Sith, who have secretly been backing the Imperials, get plans of their own. Their leader, Darth Krayt, carries out a coup against Emperor Roan Fel. However, he ends up killing a double.'' ''As the New Galactic Empire of Darth Krayt wages war against Emperor Fel's Empire-in-exile, the rank and file and their Sith masters launch an offensive. Captain Malcor Ashen, an officer who fought under Fel against the Galactic Alliance, had to decide between his old leader or the new Sith Emperor as the galaxy is consumed in yet another brutal conflict.''
