The squadron flew out of the hangar bay and rushed the Acolean blockade before the barricade ships figured out what was happening. The fighters split up. Snopel, shadow stormtrooper sergeant Hex, and a large portion of the squadron flew at the station and drew the fire of the turbolasers, while John, Tron, and the rest of the squadron flew towards the bridge. Imperial Battle Station Command analyzed the station and found a weakness., which was the bridge.
After a while of fighting, the Acolean Flotilla abandoned the station and flew off into hyperspace. The rest of the Imperial fleet moved in to the station and fired. John and Tron split off from the main group and went towards the bridge.
Another hour passed, and the fighting got less and less intense. Most of the turbolaser batteries on the station surface had been destroyed by payloads of explosives dropped down from TIE bombers. Imperial troops were pretty much just sitting and waiting for the two pilots to destroy the station, and they did.
A couple days later, word got to the squadron on Coruscant that the Acoleans abandoned the galaxy, but the war was not over yet.
