Stan's clone was a clone created from Stan in 167 ABY.

Biography[]

Development of Stan's clone[]

Stan's clone was developed from the hand he lost in 166 ABY, when the cockpit door of the Millenium Falcon closed on his wrist during a battle with the Jedi on Endor.

When the battle was over, the Jedi put the hand in stasis and took it back to Yeda. There, the leadership of the Yeda Republic, well aware of how Stan had once been a light side ally, decided to develop a new body for Stan. They realized that he had not been changed to the dark side voluntarily, but rather enveloped in the dark side energy of the evil Force creature and compelled to attack the Yeda Republic. So, to restore balance to the Force, the Yeda Republic cloning team cultivated all the normal human cells they could from Stan's hand and built him a body that matched his original human one in appearence. They did however, use the green blood from the hand to ensure that Stan's Clone matched his transformed body in both physical strength and strength in the Force. It took five years for the clone to reach maturity, aging about ten years for every one year it was alive. Then the accelerated aging genes were carefully replaced with normal aging genes and Stan's Clone was ready to be inhabited by Stan's spirit in 172 ABY.

Reincorporating Stan in his body[]

The problem was, even though Stan had been forcibly turned to the dark side, he was fully comfortable being a Sith by 167 ABY. It also helped his ego that at 50 years old, his original human body had been transformed by the dark side into a massively muscled figure many times stronger than a normal human. The Yeda Republic had to capture Stan to force him to listen to their offer: to transfer him into a clone of his original light side Jedi body that still retained the physical strength of his enhanced body. So the Federation starships that the Yeda Republic had built from Starfleet plans were used as bait to draw Stan in. Stan invaded the Intrepid-class starship Rebellious and was attacked by the Jedi on the bridge. They lured Stan into a turbolift and then escaped in the floor hatch. Stan's elevator, damaged by an earlier battle, plummeted down the turboshaft out of control until it was caught by the safety nets. The turbolift bounced back up, tore through the top of the bridge dome and was blown up by phasers. At the same time, Stan was beamed into Sickbay and sedated by the holographic doctor. Stan was then beamed into a detention cell, and Ian, the Commander of the Yeda Republic, arrived to present the offer of a new light side body. But Stan was in no mood to listen, so Ian left, knowing that Stan would rush the ForceField, which was made of light side energy. Stan bounced off and was knocked unconscious, even as Light Side energy enveloped and permeated his body. The Yeda Republic leadership knew that it would only be a matter of time before Stan would return to the light side, and since the Stan clone had four years of development left anyway, they could afford to wait.

By 172 ABY, the Stan clone had been ready for a year, now aging normally and the same age(55 years old) as Stan. Once Stan turned back to the light side and killed Emperor Palestine, Darth Vader 3, the new leader of the Yeda Republic, met with him and informed him of the Stan Clone. Since Stan's clone on the Dyson Sphere, made from harvested cells from his original limbs, was having development problems, Stan agreed to inhabit the Yeda clone instead. He managed to reinhabit his original body, which had been taken over by Emperor Palestine's spirit and hitched a ride all the way to the South Outer Rim. There, once Palestine's spirit had been removed by a Royal Guard, Stan's spirit revealed itself by blasting his old body into unconsciousness. Then Stan's spirit went in search of Grand Admiral Thrawn's descendant, who was the highest ranking Imperial that was not on the Dyson Sphere. Thrawn was found in the PentaStar Alignment, fighting against the Palestine Renegades. Once the battle had been won, the ships went to find Darth Vader 3, joined at Coruscant by the Yeda Republic Eclipse. Stan's spirit resided in hologram form until they made contact with Darth Vader 3 at Shogun in the Quence sector. There, Stan's clone body was transferred from the Colorado, along with Darth Vader 3 and his senior staff. Stan's spirit inhabited his new clone body and waited in the Emperor's throne room for Admiral Phedge to arrive. Admiral Phedge had been Emperor Palestine's right hand man, until he secretly agreed to ally with the Jedi and the Yeda Republic to end the wasteful war that the Renegades had started in 166 ABY.

Once Admiral Phedge arrived, Darth Vader 3 and his right hand man Grand Admiral Ron Baker led him up to the throne room, where Stan was revealed, alive and well in his new clone body. There, the four military commanders, each possessing vital information on Emperor Palestine's forces, joined forces to plan their next objective: namely to turn the newly rebuilt Centerpoint Station against the Renegades and restore freedom to the galaxy.
