Rise of the Empire era

Sry'iit Vobb'r was a female Btryzetix born on an asteroid in the Antipose system of the Centrality. She was a spacer and eventually the captain of a freighter.

Biography[]

Born on an isolated asteroid facility in 174 BBY, she spent the first sixty-one years of her life living with her grandmother and her grandmother's clan on Gap Nine. After her grandmother's death in 113 BBY, she left the clan and obtained work on a transport owned by a Koorivar merchant named Doro Venith. Because Venith was greedy and only paid his Koorivar employees well, Vobb'r quit working for him during a delivery on Moztooine in 96 BBY. She spent the next five years working in an office on Moztooine but then she found work as the copilot of a freighter captain named Mushoo Vessud. When Vessud retired in 83 BBY, he sold his freighter to Vobb'r for 6,000 truguts.

Now independent, she hauled freight around the galaxy alone managing to earn enough to keep to stay in business. In 82 BBY, she delivered supplies to Dalicron-4 and a Paigun named Babbsi Reyhan approached her to obtain passage offworld. For a fee of 20,000 credits she agreed and took the Paigun woman to Ansion.

Only once did she ever attempt smuggling. In 79 BBY she was paid by a Wookiee criminal in Cinnagar to bring an illegal prototype weapon to Nar Shaddaa. She succeeded and delivered it to a t'landa Til named Vuzgresh, receiving a large payment. However, she had been stopped by a small Hepsalum Tash customs agent, Yred Mulash, before entering Hutt Space. The agent had simply wandered around the ship for a few minutes and demanded a "processing fee" of 200 credits but the entire experience unnerved her so much that she never smuggled again.

In 70 BBY she was diagnosed with a rare disease called Mlekik Jorfheisystic Mruubvi. Lacking enough money for treatments, she continued flying until 61 BBY when the disease killed her. She died aboard her ship in the Écpe system.
