Spaceballs Wars is a series of three fan films directed, produced, and written by Clone Trooper 1000. The first film: Spaceballs Wars Episode I: The Family Guy Menace is set to be released in 2011. The films are comedic in nature, though not at the levels of films of Darthipedia. The series serves as an unofficial prequel of the Spaceballs film, and also ties in with Family Guy's and Robot Chicken's Star Wars franchises. The entire trilogy will be made on Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 with the assistance of Paint and TwistedBrush Open Studio. Once completed, each episode will be made viewable to all users for no charge.

Production began shortly after the release of Family Guy's It's a Trap!, which completes Laugh it Up, Fuzzball: The Family Guy Trilogy. The films are presented in a comic book-style format, for lack of voice actors, although voice acting is under consideration for episodes II and III.

The events of the series take place at the same time as the Star Wars film series in a parallel universe. Many of the original Star Wars characters appear, but are "portrayed" by other popular personalities, such as Han Solo being "played" by Peter Griffin from Family Guy. As well, characters who parody others do not overlap, such as Darth Vader and Dark Helmet, who coexist in the same film.

Films[]

Spaceballs Wars Episode I: The Family Guy Menace (2011)[]

This film is an alternative version of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. It details on the origins of Anakin Skywalker and Dark Helmet.

Spaceballs Wars Episode II: Attack of the Chickens[]

Spaceballs Wars Episode II: Attack of the Chickens is an alternative version of Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. It follows the events of Obi-Wan Kenobi trying to create an army of robot chickens.

Spaceballs Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Helmet[]

Spaceballs Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Helmet is an alternative version of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. Dark Helmet's fall to the dark side is represented here.

The "Original" films[]

The Spaceballs Wars trilogy serves as a prequel to other parody films. The original films are set after these prequels in the order that follows:

  • Spaceballs (1987)
  • Robot Chicken: Star Wars (2007)
  • Family Guy: Blue Harvest (2007)
  • Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II (2008)
  • Spaceballs: The Animated Series (2008)
  • Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side (2009)
  • Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III (2010)
  • Family Guy: It's a Trap! (2010)

Behind the scenes[]

Clone Trooper 1000 was inspired to make the trilogy after realizing that most Star Wars parodies only parodied the Original Trilogy, as opposed to the prequel trilogy.

PowerPoint is used in the first film, but more advanced technology is being considered for episodes II and III with the help of other users.
