Soviet Elaiza "Sovi" Turgachia was the middle of three girls (born 134 ABY) born on Chandrilla to Katherine Morathi and So`run Turgachia. She started her life up on the homestead of her grandmother Jasmine Auroras-Morathi, where the entire Auroras-Morathi clan lived.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Sovi, as her family had come to call her, had always been the hard-headed one of the trio of herself, her older sister Rayne, and their younger sister Taia. Quick to anger and lacking in patience, she quite often stormed off to be alone rather than work out any problems she had. This led to her having quite a few problems during her school years.
Heartbroken by her father's untimely death in her early years, she became very close with her older sister Rayne, who was ten years her senior. The pair were inseparable for the first years of Sovi's life, and the young girl followed her older sister everywhere. It wasn't until the elder of the two girls started traveling around with their grandmother that Sovi began to distance herself from her older sister. Their baby sister Taia was close with both girls, but spent more time with Sovi.
The Golden Empire[]
In 145 ABY, Rayne left home, leaving the family to wonder what had happened to her for an entire year. In that year, Sovi became incredibly angry at her older sister, perpetually blaming her for most of the family's problems during that time. Late that year, Rayne came to her family, along with the Centurion Te`net Organi in order to convince them to return to the Golden Empire with her, where they would live under the protection of Jasmine's half-sister (and the Golden Empire's Queen), Rin Sakaros. After many months, and much to Sovi's dismay, her immediate family decided to go along with Rayne, while her aunts, uncles, and cousins stayed behind. With her family's decision to uproot their lives and move to a new place, she was heartbroken.
Her family's pride in her older sister's accomplishments brought a deep-seated jealousy to Sovi's heart, causing every interaction to be awkward and somewhat hostile. She often used Rayne's leaving their family behind as a way to insult and hurt her, while she herself stayed close to her family even while attending university on Tyras. Sovi visited her sister aboard the Sith Star more than once, but the visits often involved awkward exchanges among the siblings. Both Tarzg Sav'lir and Rin attempted to mediate the difficulties, but though Rin got Sovi to confront her resentment of Rayne for leaving them, neither made a lasting impact.
Sovi began studying on Tyras without a specific degree in mind, and continued for years in that vein, pursuing subjects which interested her with no long-term plan to implement them. She was often dismissive of the efforts of the Massassi Guards, finding them more burdensome than helpful.
Appearance and Personality[]
Blonde and blue-eyed, Sovi looked very similar to both of her sisters. She occasionally dyed her hair black as a way to stand out more.
Sovi's family considered her incredibly stubborn and brash, often letting her emotions rule her actions. Among those in the Order of Keltrayu, she was quite notorious for being the complete opposite of her sister Rayne.
