Soren Sunrunner, 7th Count Sunrunner, was a Jedi Guardian and Weapons Master during the Great Hyperspace War, and an ancestor of the Revanchist Jedi Apostate, Suri Sunrunner.
Like many Weapon Masters, Sunrunner did not confine himself to the study of the lightsaber exclusively, and preferred the use of bladed weapons in combat. During the war, he developed a fearsome reputation as a swordsman and melee specialist. His sword was feared by Naga Sadow's Sith followers, as its blade spilled the blood of many a Sith warrior during its time in his possession.
The Pureblood Sith Lord Karros, known as the "Lord of Lore," knew of the Jedi's exploits during the war, and thought highly of the man's command of the Force. It is possible he and Sunrunner dueled sometime during the war.
