The Eight Banners of Sor Talgren.
Sor Talgren, also called the imperial clan, was the ruling family of the Cratnik race, hailing from the world of Cratnis in the Unknown Regions, for many millennia. All of the planet's emperors and most of the Cratnik hive rulers were members of the Sor Talgren clan. Since the near-annihilation of their race by the Galactic Empire after the Clone Wars, the Sor Talgren clan was divided and scattered throughout the galaxy.
Eight Banners[]
The clan was organized into eight of the most prominent noble families, known as banners, which were identified by colors. Each banner ruled over multiple hives and was led by its eldest first-rank prince. The Cratnik emperors were part of the yellow banner, which was the most powerful, and also ruled over the Great Hive.
