A master of the Force and a seeker of archane lore, Snoke possessed the knowledge that made him the prime Jedi Master of the old Jedi Order, being responsible for the training of many influential Force-wielders who shaped the history of the galaxy.
Believing the Jedi Order had been reduced to a mere lapdog of the Galactic Senate in the aftermath of the Jedi-Sith Wars, Snoke abandoned faith in the Jedi and went into exile in the Unknown Regions, settling on the desert planet of Exegol. Delving into Sith lore, he became a power-hungry Dark Jedi and sought, by terrible means, to eradicate the Order and the corrupt Galactic Republic.
