The battle known as the Slaughter on Grolgyt occurred when Rebel Group MT50 attacked a small company of Imperial stormtroopers training on Grolgyt. Taken by surprise, the stormtroopers were slaughtered and they only managed to kill a few of the Rebels.
The battle on Grolgyt[]
After replenishing their ranks with volunteers in the Écpe system, many of them freed from the hastily abandoned Prison Facility Local-5373169 on Battlestation Écpe, Rebel Group MT50 made their next move against the Empire. Pulviir received a tip that a stormtrooper company was training on Grolgyt under the command of Torgus Aubeldon and it had been left on the moon without any communications. They managed to land and attack the stormtroopers, ambushing them as they were encamped in a large crater. Many stormtroopers were killed, along with their commander, but they were rallied by the clone 003-WR-640 and almost managed to regroup. Before they could counterattack, Rebel sniper Olto Yensk'lti managed to shoot 003-WR-640 and the stormtrooper line collapsed and was overrun. Pulviir offered them a chance to surrender but they fought to the death. After the battle, Rebel Group MT50 loaded their transports with the Imperials supplies and traveled to their newly liberated base in the Zorbia system to plot their next attack.
