Slatia Desilijic Fortiure, or Slatia Fortuna, was a Huttese Jedi Master of the Jedi Order. She was the master of the Vurk Jedi Knight, Kitalon Duney, and Ongree Jedi Master, Tina-Jill. She is the daughter of another Jedi, but is mostly known for his criminal dealings, and his name is Kolluga Desilijic Fortiure. She is also the wife of Rotta Desilijic Tiure and the mother of Arok Desilijic Fortiure.
Biography[]
Early Life (31 BBY-100 ABY])[]
Slatia, who was born on Tatooine, was the child of Kolluga and Aronka Desilijic Fortiure. A few weeks later, her father, who was force-sensitive, sensed the force within her and taught her in the ways of the Jedi, for a short while.
Clone Wars[]
Slatia was born during the onset of the Clone Wars and hardly ever saw the outside of her father's palace, due to the warring Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic. It was 21 BBY when she first saw the outside war, when she was visiting a distant relative of hers on Tatooine. Shortly after leaving the Mos Espa Grand Arena, she was kidnapped by assassin Asajj Ventress on her father's sail barge. She would later find out that Rotta, too, was kidnapped and brought to a B'omarr Monastery on Teth. But Rotta and Slatia were soon rescued by Jedi Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. But while returning back to Jabba's Palace, Slatia and Rotta had gotten sick, and needed immediate medical attention. After talking to a hologram med-droid, Ahsoka gave the two Huttlets a pill each and they got better. But, the Twilight got shot down, crash-landing on Tatooine. While Ahsoka took the Huttlets, Skywalker went to go confront Dooku.
Just when Skywalker was about to be shot by Jabba and Kolluga's goons, Ahsoka came in with Slatia and Rotta, she handed the two Hutts their children and stood next to her master. But then, Jabba told his men to open fire at the Jedi, so, Rotta and Slatia closed their eyes. But a holo-message appeared, Senator Padmé Amidala revealed that Jabba's uncle, Ziro, was working with Count Dooku and were plotting against Jabba. Jabba, Kolluga, and her uncle then signed the treaty, Rotta and Slatia were seen in their fathers' arms.
