The Sixth Republic Expeditionary Fleet was a major Galactic Republic battle fleet during the seventh century of the New Sith Wars. Under the command of Jedi Master and High Council member Kussam Bnodd, the Sixth Fleet was tasked with harassment and disruption in the territories of Sith Overlords Vedya Gasald and Trayvin Osydro. Due to Gasald's conquest of Milagro and Allanteen Six, the Sixth Fleet primarily operated in the southeast galaxy.
After Gasald's apparent demise at the Battle of Allanteen, Bnodd increased operations against her territory, and wound up dedicating a campaign to defeating her successor, Darshkére. Bnodd divided the fleet into sub-elements commanded by admirals, including Vice Admiral Frek Dilau, his second-in-command.
The Sixth Fleet experienced numerous successes, including the critical battles of Ando and Mon Gazza, though it stalled at the Siege of Druckenwell. However, Darshkére successfully baited Bnodd and the majority of the Sixth Fleet into a trap at the Battle of Llanic, where most of that fleet was destroyed or captured. Vice Admiral Dilau assumed command of what remained of the fleet, lifted the Siege of Druckenwell, and attempted to negotiate an exchange of prisoners of war with Darshkére.
