Darth Taral, the Order's founder.

That is why the Sith must be reformed. [...] This is why there must be a new Order…the Sith of Darth Taral.
Darth Taral[src]

The Sith of Darth Taral was a planned reformed group of Sith who would be led by Darth Taral. Taral believed that both the Jedi Order and the Order of the Sith Lords were both incorrect in their ways and teachings, therefore claimed that a new order must be created. Although it was, according to the title, a Sith sect, it was, by standards of Darth Bane's Order, "Sith" in name only. By the time of 21 BBY, Taral was the only known member of the group.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

A scene was scripted for Star Wars The Drewton Legacy Chapter 23: The Threat Within in which Taral showed his former Jedi apprentice, Dular, a group of Jedi with silver lightsabers he had been training who would eventually become the Dark Jedi of the Sith Order. The Drewton Legacy author Andrew Barton cut the scene because he felt it was not right for the chapter, but has said the plot element may be used later in the series.[2]
