The Sith-Rakata War was a brief planetary war fought in 4987 BBY between the Rakata Mure tribe and the Sith-blooded Kûskûshnwûlanjattsisottoikut for control over the fortress world of Mure. As a single Mure year lasted 4.31 standard years, the war—which spanned a standard year—was fought entirely over the course of a single summer season in the southern hemisphere. The war ended inconclusively with both sides acknowledging their inability to achieve complete domination without resorting to total war and a Pyrrhic victory. In its aftermath, the Sith and Rakata buried the hatchet and formed a joint coalition government called the Second Predorate to serve the mutual interests of both groups.
