The Sith-Imperial Military, or simply the Imperial Military, was the military branch of the Sith Empire. It consisted of the Sith-Imperial Army and Navy. It was created in 11,263 BBY, along with the Empire as a whole, after the first Sith Lords conquered the Esstran sector, and consisted largely of conscripted natives of subjugated planets. The Sith cared very little for the lives of thier troops, and the military was largely used as cannon fodder. However, the military allowed the Sith to overrun planets that they had not been able to take on their own, and the Empire gradually expanded to the galactic north and west as the millenia went on.

In 5,117 BBY, the Empire came into contact with the Republic of Systems for the first time, leading to the first of thirteen conflicts between the Imperial and Republic Militaries. Eventually, the Imperial Military was driven back by the Republic and Jedi and believed destroyed, but they had actually retreated to the Empire's northern territory, which was then unknown to the Republic. They remained there for several centuries until the start of the New Sith War, where the Military was led by former Jedi-turned-Sith Lords Darth Revan and Darth Malak. The Empire eventually conquered Coruscant, ending the Republic and scattering its remaining forces. However, the Empire and its military was soon fractured during the Sith Civil War. The infighting allowed for the newly-formed Army of Light to drive the Empire back and eventually win the war at Korriban, ending the Sith Empire and its military forever.
