"Silas" was the codename of the first Director of Sector 13, the covert Galactic Republic intelligence agency founded in 12,995 BBY. He was responsible for the operation of Sector 13, and he reported to and received orders only from the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic.^[1]
