Sidrona was a Mulask male politician who served as Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic during the Great Sith War.

Biography[]

Born on the oceanic world of Mull, Sidrona, like most members of his species, was a peaceful individual who desired what he thought was best for his people and the Republic. A powerful speaker, Sidrona served as Mull's representative in the Senate before being elected Chancellor in 4004 BBY. His political skill and charisma made him very popular among the Senate and he was re-elected for a second term in 4000 BBY.

Sidrona was a strong supporter of the Jedi Order and was close friends with Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Baas. When the fallen Jedi Exar Kun began to strike against the Republic, Sidrona refused to believe a Jedi would be behind such terrorist acts and prevented the Jedi from intervening until conclusive proof was found. When Exar Kun's apprentice, Ulic Qel-Droma, was apprehended, Chancellor Sidrona presided over his trial. The inquisition would come to an abrupt end however when Exar Kun revealed himself before the Senate and attacked the Chancellor. Using a Sith amulet, Exar Kun forced Sidrona to spout the Dark Lord's anti-Republic rhetoric before crushing the Mulask's skull, killing him.

With the Great Sith War fully underway, Minister of Defense Netus was forced into the role of Chancellor to combat the threat of the Sith. After the end of the war, Netus continued to serve as interim Chancellor until a proper successor was elected. Meanwhile, the planet Mull was shaken by Sidrona's death and promptly left the Senate, branding the Republic and its member races as bloodthirsty savages.
