Shiib was a large desert world located not far from the Senb star in the Senb'An'Tiin sector. For centuries, it was home for many beings and civilizations.

History

The early historical chronicles mention the first Shiibian Empire, which existed somewhere in the deserts where later the Fiderkha Autonomy was located during the Jedi Civil War and the Galactic Empire.

They were better known as Shiibians, who were expected to be the most technologically advanced nation before its fall due to the conspiracy, initiated by the five local grandees against the Emperor. After this conflict, a new state was formed with a capital of Baash'Taa and a religious center of Boddey. For several centuries, it remained as the only governing authority on the planet.

Around 4,000 BBY, the Elecrians tried to conquer the planet with the aid of the Sith Empire. They established a military base in an oasis known as Feedey Station, which was later reconstructed into the Fiderkha spaceport.

At some point before 2,000 BBY, the Baash'Taa decided to expropriate the Fiderkha territories, but upon learning of the exact location of this spaceport, they decided to avoid any conflicts with the city, because according to their beliefs, these territories were cursed by the Dark King, an enigmatic persona from the forgotten past. Fiderkha Autonomy remained as the second state on the planet up to the days of the Galactic Empire.

In 31 BBY, the Baash'Taa suffered a major conflict that was later defined as a Baash'Taa civil war. Members of the Senb'An'Tiin Confederacy aided the citizens of the Baash'Taa kingdom, and as a result, Shiib (at least partly) became the associate member of this Union. The Fiderkha Autonomy, on the contrary, remained neutral in all impending events.
