Shihaungdi was a male Quarren captain in the navy of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Originally serving as a lieutenant, Shihaungdi was stationed aboard the Providence-class carrier/destroyer Dooku's Fury. However, in 19 BBY, at the recommendation of his superior, Vice Admiral Vanto Zahn, the Quarren officer was promoted to captain and given his own command: the Recusant-class light destroyer Malevolent. Under his command, the Malevolent fought at the Battle of Coruscant. It was destroyed from concentrated fire by two Venator-class Star Destroyers, killing Shihaungdi and all hands.
Personality and traits[]
Shihaungdi was considered to be a competent commander by his superior, the Zabrak officer Vanto Zahn. For that reason, he was given his own command, the Malevolent. However, the Quarren was prone to anger when something did not go he way he planned, which often made his tactics clumsy and predictable.
