Sharad Hett was the father of the Jedi-turned-Sith, A'Sharad Hett, and the husband of K'Sheek Hett. During his early life, Hett was trained in the ways of the Force and a became a Jedi; he later left the Jedi Order and became one of the few Humans ever to join with the nomadic race known as the Tusken Raiders.
When Gardulla the Hutt formed a plan to end Jabba's reign over Tatooine, Hett had already risen to the rank of clan leader within his group. Hett decided to aid Jabba, which cost he and most of his clan their lives, when Gardulla ambushed Hett's clan with a bombardment of explosives.
