Shadow Storm Commandos, or more commonly referred to as The Black death, were elite commandos that served within the Galactic Empire. They were highly trained and classified to the point in which only a select few were aware of their existence lest being in command of them. They wore experimental armor that allowed them to operate in extreme heat, acid rivers and lightning, and provided far superior protection to blaster bolts than normal stormtrooper armor. Their armor and equipment were also layered in a metallic synthesized material that repelled electromagnetic waves rendering them wearer nearly invisible, allowing them to carry out some of the most dangerous and classified assignments, alongside protecting key Imperial personnel from a close distance without being seen.
History[]
Whilst the Galactic Civil War raged on across the galaxy, Grand Admiral Redriss Rustariss noticed the weaknesses In protection of not only Imperial military structures, but in that of Imperial personnel that were deemed important, instead of utilizing the Storm Commandos, he created the Shadow Storm Commandos for covert protection and classified operational duties.
Other than that, little is known about how long or why they have operated over the years, other than the eye witness reports from a few storm troopers that were never heard from again after giving their report.
Equipment[]
The Shadow Storm commandos mainly used specialized weaponry against their foes and proved to be deadly efficient against enemies, creeping forward and leaving only dead bodies in their wake thus earning their nickname "The Black Death". They carry around a portable stealth field generator, a DLT-19x targeting rifle attached with an ion reducer silencer as a secondary along with a modified, compact DLT-19 Heavy blaster rifle, their main weapons of choice throughout the Galactic Civil War. They were however, trained in the use of heavy rapid fire assault weapons in the rare case that they are rapidly inserted into a combat hot zone to provide support or breakthrough enemy lines.
