The Shadow Jedi were a corrupted faction in the Jedi Order and made up of mostly Jedi Watchman. This faction of Jedi were around during the Black Republic time period and lead by the fallen Master, Kalnar Zan and his apprentice, Voner Niro.
History[]
After the end of the First Jedi Purge, the Jedi were busy rebuilding itself. During this time, the Republic was starting to suffer from corruption which made it's way into the Jedi Order. The Jedi, concerned for it's own safety, isolated themselves from the rest of the know galaxy. One of the corrupted Jedi was a Master, named Kalnar Zan, who at the time had Naresha has his apprentice.
Kalnar, felt the Jedi Order was week and blamed the near destruction of the Order by the flawed logic of the Jedi Code, as such he took things into his own hands. The Master formed his own faction of Jedi, and started to focus his energy on rebuilding the Order in his own way, by getting rad of all those he saw as a threat to the Jedi's future.
Kalnar and his followers of Jedi Watchman, started to capture and kill various targets, ranging from fellow Jedi and some within the Republic. Naresha was against her master's corruption and left him, only to end up getting captured by his Watchman and taken to a security prison above Coruscant.
Kalnar got a new apprentice named, Voner Niro, and she became second in command of the Shadow Jedi, overseeing operation's on their various self-made prisons, such as the one on Taloraan, while Kalnar stayed on the Shadow's main base, a ancient and secret Jedi academy on Dashaad, which has been their since the time the Jedi Order was first formed.
Eventually, the Shadow Jedi were defeated by The Dark Hero with the help of Naresha and their other companions. Their security prisons above Coruscant and Taloraan were both destroyed and Kalnar along with Voner were killed, with their hidden Jedi academy being destroyed shortly afterwards. Naresha and her ex-Jedi Master companions returned to the Council and informed them of the Shadow Jedi, leading to the Order to seek out any remnants of the group and capture them.
Legacy[]
The Jedi Order would adopt their techniques and Jedi's who used them were known as Jedi Shadow, who would later fight the Sith Empire three centuries later.
