The Sewalians were amphibious humanoids from the Inner Rim planet Sewalia. They bore a strong resemblance to the Qwohogs of Hirsi.

Biology and appearance[]

The Sewalians were 1.2-meter-tall turquoise-skinned amphibious humanoids with silvery scales on their heads, and round black eyes. They were noseless and had pointed ears.

Society and culture[]

Sewalians could work for any affiliation and occupation, and could speak in a language which consists of frog-like croaks. They also speak Basic. They were the makers of the Sewalian algae crisps.

History[]

The Sewalians were the sentient descendants of a non-sentient amphibian species. They evolved on Sewalia, an aquatic planet located in the Sewalia system within the Jaso sector in the Inner Rim. Their homeworld was explored sometime between 15,000 BBY and 8000 BBY, during the Kymoodon Era to the Rianitus Period. It fell into the area of space known as the Trailing Sectors. They shared their home sector with many other species, including the Denbari, the Kedrans, and the Vratix. It became a part of Republic Space during the Clone Wars. In 25 ABY, their homeworld's population was up to 500 million. Their homeworld became a part of Darth Krayt's Sith Empire in 137 ABY.
