Serenno was a planet in the Outer Rim and the home of the rich and powerful Counts. It was the location of numerous civil wars, the most notable being the thirteenth such war in 95 BBY.

A fairly undeveloped world, it only had two space ports, the planet's capital Thirula and the second city Friscia, although private hangers existed in other cities. Thirula relied on the trading town of Horspan and the fishing port of Rogo for its supplies. The northern mountains supplied much of the raw materials that the planet exported. The planet's winters were very terrible and travel and communication between settlements was non-existent during this time.
