A war ravaged world. Strategically useless, other than the fact that it produces some of the best warriors in the galaxy.
Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn

Sengoku was a terrestrial planet in the Unknown Regions of the galaxy. It was largely unknown until 900 BBY, after which it became famous for senshi, elite Sengokun swordsmen. The planet was not ruled by a central government until 58 BBY, and only remained unified until 28 BBY. Mostly, Sengoku was controlled by various clans, families, and shogunates vying for power and constantly fighting. Because of that, it rarely receives off world visitors. Technological advancement is largely hampered by this, and the planet uses not very advanced technology, such as swords and spears. However, blasters became more common after 60 BBY.

The terrestrial planet was covered in grasslands, mountains, forests, tundras, deserts, jungles, and oceans. Sengoku also had two ice caps, with the southern being slightly bigger than the northern one. About half of the planet was covered with two large continents, Momoyama and Azuchi (the former being the larger one). They were separated by a narrow strait, and surrounded by various islands, the majority of which were uninhabited and thus many were used by exiles. The continents were split into many provinces, with a capitol at each. Azuchi was mostly grassland and forest, with some mountains, while Momoyama contained that as well as deserts, tundras, and one jungle.

Administrative divisions

The planet was split into various provinces, controlled by different clans and families, throughout two large continents, Momoyama and Azuchi. Each had a provisional capital.
