Sendray Beethar was a male Human military officer and politician from Milagro.
Beethar devoted his career to Milagro's army, achieving the rank of commander by the time multiple Sith factions invaded Milagro in 1,387 BBY. Beethar led his artillery battalion against Zirist Lakalt's forces, but sustained heavy casualties, leaving his soldiers in no condition to fight Vedya Gasald's followup invasion. Rather than be slaughtered in a losing fight, Beethar went underground with the survivors of his battalion.
Eventually, Beethar met retired Master Sergeant Ternis Sepzee, and the two united their bands into one of the most active and effective cells of the Milagro Resistance. Like Sepzee, Beethar desired complete Milagroan independence; while he was happy to see the Sith defeated in 1,386 BBY, he was no more fond of Mali Darakhan's pro-Republic interim government.
Where Sepzee continued to resist the pro-Republic factions, recasting his Resistance fighters into the Army of Free Milagro, Beethar opposed Zemma Rufos and Tago Tafen head-on, forming the Free Milagro Party. He and several likeminded former Resistance members won seats in Milagro's new parliament, though FMP trailed Rufos's Milagro Forward Party and Tafen's National Union Party. In Parliament, Beethar vocally opposed the majority vote for Milagro to join the Republic and continued to criticize Rufos's leadership and pro-Republic decisions.
Many beings suspected Beethar of collaborating with the Army of Free Milagro, but proof remained elusive.
