Seeg-Til was a Zyked Novice of the Order of Keltrayu and the son of Zyked Centurion Rajj-Yo.

Biography[]

Bad blood[]

Sired in 140 ABY on Deshad during one of his father's dalliances on his homeworld, Seeg hatched the next year. He lived among his own people in a crèche-pod with others his own age for only four years. In 145 ABY, Rajj-Yo returned to Deshad, discovered the boy, and took him back to the Sith Star for training in the Order.

Outgoing, friendly, and easily excitable, Seeg was well-received by his new siblings, but less so by his father. The bloodthirsty Rajj-Yo, widely considered one of the deadliest and most brutal warriors in the entire Golden Empire, was displeased that his progeny was not nearly as aggressive. Though he demonstrated no less skill in lightsaber combat than any other Novice his age, Seeg lacked altogether his father's savage bloodlust, and Rajj-Yo generally ignored the boy, considering him a disappointment.

Friends and family[]

Though his father's rejection saddened him, Seeg quickly bonded with several other Centurions. He was ringbearer at the wedding of Tariun Sakaros and Breek Zagrev, as both the bride and groom liked him. During a visit to his sister Rin, Nagarian Sakaros bonded with Seeg too, and they remained friends their entire lives. Seeg visited Belsavis at least once in Rin's company to see Nagarian.

Seeg's most important relationship, however, was with the Rebeyr Centurion and healer Tillandra Moraes. One of the few beings Rajj-Yo treated deferentially, she used that influence to encourage him to be kind to his son, and regularly allowed Seeg to visit her in the Citadel's medbay. More than once he snuck out of his dormitory after hours to go visit her, and she listened patiently to his stories about his day before sending him back to bed. When he became old enough to adopt a second name in accordance with Zyked custom, Seeg eschewed the names of any of the Zyked communal mothers on Deshad and took part of Tillandra's name for himself, becoming Seeg-Til.

Later Novitiate[]

Kieran Sapphire and Arcantha Syr considered Seeg-Til one of the most promising swordsmen of his age group; eventually the young Zyked chose to specialize in Ataru, and consequently spent a great deal of time training with Elrabin Ralvik. He also became adept at Var Shek, using his tail for footsweeps in addition to his other limbs.

In his teenage years, Seeg-Til's sadness at his father's rejection began to turn to anger at his father and dislike for Rajj-Yo's personality. When Rajj-Yo intentionally terrified the young and traumatized Nizenya Sapphire, Kieran sensed that Seeg-Til was close to intervening with only a training lightsaber.

When Reiko Kaytana was assassinated by Imperial Knights in 157 ABY and Nagarian came to live in the Empire, Seeg-Til tried to comfort his friend but found Nagarian distant. The Zyked was disappointed that Nagarian opted for private training with his brother Tariun rather than joining the Order, but he tried to talk to Nagarian whenever the young Sith was aboard the Sith Star.

Powers and abilities[]

Seeg-Til trained with the usual Centurion's emphasis on telekinesis and telepathy, with a special focus on Force-assisted acrobatics to assist his Ataru. He was sufficiently skilled as a swordsman that even as a teenager Kieran Sapphire had him do two-on-one lightsaber sparring drills against younger Novices.

Appearance and personality[]

Seeg-Til had a mottled green and red hide; as a teenager he had a lanky build, which started to muscle up as he approached adulthood. His lightsaber had an orchid purple blade and a straight hilt.

Seeg-Til's comrades considered him generally happy, positive, and enthusiastic. He was helpful to younger and smaller Novices, and though he trained hard, he did not hurt or embarrass training partners needlessly. Because he placed a premium on being kind and fair, his relationship with his father grew worse instead of better as he aged, and he began to dislike his father and others he found needlessly cruel.
