The Second Morsian-Sicc'orax War was a war fought between the Morsian Military Dictatorship against the Sicc'orax Republic on the planet Mors. The war was the last war to be fought by the dictatorship before its collapse into the Third Morsian Civil War. The war began after increasing tensions between the Morsians and Sicc'orax which included several failed assassination attempts against the then-dictator Flavia Yjak'aar. Initially, the war looked to be in favor of the Sicc'orax, who made great gains into Morsian-held land using pre-planned strikes. However, the war slowed as the Morsians dug in and pushed back over several years to the Sicc'orax capital of Sicc'orandunum. The end of the war was noted for almost being a complete reversal of positions on the Morsians had the Sicc'orax general Severix Celt'arum successfully completed his plan to rout the legions and encircle the besieging Morsian forces. However, his plan was stopped and the Morsians succeeded in winning the war. It was also noted as being the precursor to the Third Morsian Civil War, which was caused by Sicc'orax spies who set up the chain to the civil war during this war.
