The Scourge of Acrolis was an event that occurred toward the end of the Second Galactic Civil War. It was an act of vengeance by the Acrolian people against the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances and Darth Caedus for the unexpected invasion of Acrolis at the beginning of the war, an assault that cost many lives. In response, the Acrolian Star Empire began a galaxy-wide genocide of all GFFA personnel, razing their planets and claiming territory as they went. The deed was decried across the galaxy, even by Emperor Drewika Zirátæ, but the Acrolian people could not be swayed. Thought the scourge last only a few months, it continued to have devastating effects on the galactic community. It was ended with the unconditional Treaty of Arbra, which gave the ASE a large number of captured GFFA worlds in exchange for an end to hostilities.
