Scathers were Sithspawn cyborgs. Prior to their transformation into Sithspawn, Scathers consisted of captured Force-sensitive individuals. Through Sith alchemy, these captives were grafted with a series of cybernetics that were imbued with the power of the dark side. These augmented prostheses provided the Scathers with enhanced abilities in combat. In addition, the subjects were indoctrinated into becoming obedient servants, forcing them to serve as warriors and assassins.
