Sarbator was the twelfth and final month of the Galactic Standard Calendar, the official calendar of the Galactic Republic and of the Republic of Coruscant. It preceded the month Obsidian and followed the month Grahana.
The month was named after the Saristani word for holiday, sarbator. Several public holidays of the Galactic Republic took place during this month, including New Year's Eve, Life Day and Republic Day.
