Salporin was a Wookiee warrior who met Nephill Kilner at the battle of Kashyyyk. He helped make the EEI Firespray-63 transport, and was a key figure in Republic Remnant. He was also unlucky, blamed for a major defeat at the First Battle of Dinovia, when the fleet was destroyed by the Sleeper, a superweapon. He was also captured by a Yuuzhan Vong patrol, tortured, shaped, and had parts of his body replaced. He rose to the rank of general in the RR, after major defeats and casualties during The Terminator Crisis.
