Saes Rrogon was a Kaleesh male Jedi who fell to the dark side and became a Sith Lord of the Sith Empire.

Biography[]

Born on Kalee, Saes Rrogon grew up on his harsh homeworld and was raised to become a hunter-warrior by his clan. From a young age, Rrogon stood out among his people due to his Force-sensitivity and most Kaleesh outside of his clan shunned him and his clanmates were also wary of him. Around 5005 BBY, the Jedi Knight Relin Druur crash-landed on Kalee and made contact with the native Kaleesh. Upon meeting Rrogon, Druur sensed that the young warrior was Force-sensitive and offered to train him in the ways of the Force. No longer feeling at home among his own people, Rrogon agreed and, after helping Druur repair his ship, traveled with him to Ossus to begin his Jedi training.[1]

During a mission together, Rrogon and Druur came across lignan crystals, an ore strong in the dark side. Unable to resist the power that the crystals offered, a corrupted Rrogon abandoned his master and fled deep into the Outer Rim, taking samples of the lignan ore with him. The dark side guided Rrogon into Sith Space and brought him to the Sith Empire. Arriving on the planet Ch'hodos, Rrogon made contact with the ruling Sith Lord Shar Dakhan, who took an interest in the fallen Jedi and the lignan ore he had brought with him. Rather than execute Rrogon, Lord Dakhan offered the Kaleesh a place in the Sith Empire, to which he agreed. Rrogon was subsequently made the captain of the Sith dreadnaught Harbinger' and tasked with recovering more of the lignan ore.[1]

A few years later, the Sith Empire had been discovered by hyperspace explorers Gav and Jori Daragon, leading the Dark Lord of the Sith Naga Sadow to declare war on the Galactic Republic.[2] During the war, Rrogon—now a Sith Lord himself—was sent to the Phaegon system along with Captain Yaru Korsin to retrieve lignan crystals that were vital for Lord Sadow's invasion plan on Kirrek.[3][4]
