SASW-00 "Rage"
Jaina: “I know, I can feel it in the Force, I get the feeling that it can feel us as well.”
―Jacen and Jaina, about the Rage
The SASW-00 "Rage" was a superweapon created by Darth Deus through a combination of state-of-the-art technology and Sith alchemy. It was known to be the strongest terrestrial weapon of its time, with only a Scorpion variant being able to match it.
Designing[]
The Rage was designed during Deus' time in Wild Space, where he implemented the retrieval of unique materials that could be used in Sith alchemy to create a nearly indestructible armor similar to the Zillo Beast's scales. However Deus brooded over the fact that a mighty power source would be needed to control the metallic beast and so Deus consulted with the spirits of ancient Sith on Sheol, where he learned of a unique method of the Dark Reaper's Force Harvester and how it ran on the Force itself.
Using information stored in secret vaults by the Emperor, Deus began to use the most advanced technology known to man to create the outer frame and the mechanics of the weapon while leaving a space in the chest for a power source: a spherical power source, based off the Force Harvester. The weapon system's greatest tool was its "Force Particle Superlaser," located in the mouth. Due to the unique methods in which it gained the power for firing such a weapon, the core wouldn't be needed to power it but would rather be needed to use other weapons and give it sentience.
Deus finally began designing and creating the core with Sith alchemy by using the Dark side of the Force and the spirit of the deceased Zillo Beast to create a partially organic core whose metallic design was reminiscent of the Force Harvester. The Zillo Beast was attuned to the Force and so not only could it use the Force as a power source more effectively but it could also sense threats or enemies easily even if they were metallic in origin. With the core placed into the metal frame, the Rage was now complete. Deus' friendship with the Zillo Beast created a Force Bond and therefore the weapon had complete loyalty to its master.
