When the Separatists learned that their master had betrayed them, they feared the worst. The leaders were to send their aides to be killed instead of themselves. Haako was an exception because he had been an important figure during the war. Lott Dod filled in for Haako.
False alarm[]
After Lott Dod and Rute Gunnay (disguised as Gunray) were killed with the other aides, the CIS became the Confederacy of Independent Systems (Exiled). Haako was promoted to supervisor of the new armies.
