Ruby Tachibana[1] was a Corellian human female born on the Core World Corellia in 16 BBY, three years after the end of the Clone Wars, dissolution of the Galactic Republic and formation of the Galactic Empire.[1] She was born under Jacques Tachibana and her mother.[1]
After leaving Corellia, she found herself as a pilot for the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps and became the leader of Rose Squadron.[1] During her time as a pilot, she flew as Rose Leader using a modified T-65B X-wing starfighter as well as wielding a DL-44 heavy blaster pistol which she called Crescent Rose.[1] In 4 ABY when the battle between the Alliance and Empire ended, Ruby took her surviving squadron of fighters and reorganized Rose Squadron into a faction of her own.[1] However, she was killed a few months later by New Empire forces and her faction continued to operate under Weiss Jenkins and Penny, a N.R.L. PENNY series droid.[1]
Upon her birth, she was named after her grandmother.[1]
