The Royal Lexicon of the Golden Empire was a department of the Ministry of Education. It was the authority on Orhyo, the official language of the Empire, and had final say on admitting new words to the language. The Royal Lexicon also kept a database of all official words of the language, along with grammar rules, spelling, and other concerns.
The Royal Lexicon maintained two central databases, one on Mezlagob and one on Telacia. The Royal Lexicon met some of its budgetary needs by marketing dictionary datacards, both specialized (such as "Political Vocabulary" or "Trade Vocabulary" dictionaries) and full versions, the latter containing the over-one million words of Orhyo.
