The Royal Houses of Aradan were the many royal families on Aradan. Several dozen of differing power existed by the time of the Unification Wars but a number of these were destroyed during the war. The victorious houses established the kingdom of Aradan, while the vast majority of surviving houses joined later on. As a consequence of the unification of Aradan, almost no new houses were formed, with the exception of the House of Loyaler in 3 ABY, and the House of Quinn in 9 ABY. The House of Azimuth was the longest-ruling house in Aradani history.
By the time of the Clone Wars, the number of great houses had been reduced significantly, less than twenty still existed at this point.
Between 4 BBY and 9 ABY, Norven Loyaler pursued the annihilation of many other noble houses, with the exception of the house of Azimuth and a number of other houses.
By 12 ABY, only a handful of houses had survived Norven's purging.
The Houses[]
House of Azimuth[]
House of Evora[]
House of Vaine[]
House of Levenstar[]
The house of Levenstar, known by many of the other houses as the Stolen House, was a noble house founded in the eve of the Unification Wars in 3640 BBY. It was founded by the renowned or infamous mercenary, Geldher One-Eye, who rapidly militarized his new lands in the remains of another house he had destroyed. The house rose to prominence due to it's performance in the Unification Wars, where they proved themselves one of the houses gifted in the art of war.
By the time of the Clone Wars the house had split into two branches, a militaristic group and a mercantile group, the groups only remained united by the strong guiding hand of Boamond Levenstar. When he died the house began to splinter with it having blown into a civil war amongst the house with the rise of Norven Loyaler. Once Norven had been chased out, Avren Levenstar reunited the house rallying the house under the image of the founder, who embodied both branches through his mercenary work. Though a number of militarists would join Norven in his banishment, these members of the house were low nobles, so far excluded from succession they were allowed to slip away.
House of Maiar[]
House of Hars[]
House of Loyaler[]
The house of Loyaler was a young noble house established in 3 ABY by Norven Loyaler. The house counted a single member during the time of the Aradan Union and was used as a mere tool of legitimacy.
After Norven's banishment from Aradan, the house was shamed but legitimised, and Norven's illegitimate son, Jevron Loyaler, became the duke of the House of Loyaler. When the Aradan Sectorate was established, Jevron was elected as its first chancellor
By 140 ABY, the house of Loyaler was a small house and counted a handful of members. Avron Loyaler, Jevron's grandson, was the duke of the house of Loyaler at this point.
House of Quinn[]
House of Janir[]
House of Kyrus[]
The house of Kyrus was a major house founded in 3699 BBY by Jonas Kyrus. The noble house rapidly grew out to be one of the dominant houses on Aradan and, establishing the Kyrus League, challenged the House of Azimuth in 3615 BBY. The house was later that year destroyed during the Unification Wars by members of the Loyalist League. Most of its members were killed during the Siege of the Kyrus estate.
