Roeriya Sante was a female Qua sculptor. She was born on Quadia in 112 BBY, during the era when Quadia was dominated by slaver guilds. Raised in captivity, she was among the thousands of Qua routinely bled for her rejuvenating blood.
After the Liberation of Quadia, with the world under the protection of the Golden Empire, Roeriya was among the many Qua who contributed to the data cataloguing at the Museum of Remembrance. Inspired by traditional Qua arts, she studied pottery before branching out into sculpting. She continued her studies offworld on a grant from the Ministry of Arts and Culture, and created both corporate and private works.
After the Battle of Quadia in 149 ABY, the Emoria Council commissioned Roeriya to design the Battle of Quadia Memorial. She began the design in late 150 ABY and finished it in 152 ABY, remaining on Quadia for the next two years to oversee the site selection and construction. She made a few minor changes after the Qua voted to install the memorial in the wasteland where the 77th Combined Cohort had fought the primary battle rather than in Emoria proper.
