Richard "Ray" Dune was a Human male from Tatooine. He work for Cassidy Courier Services. Ray eventually rose through the ranks and became the captain of the Twin Sun.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Richard Dune was born on Tatooine in 49 BBY. He grow up as a son of a Moisture farm rancher. His dad died during a Tusken Raiders attack. After his dad died he started to work as a courier for the Hutt Cartel on Tatooine to earn some extra credits. While his mother maintain the Moisture farm. He soon build up a reputation of being a dedicated and reliable courier. However since his use primary a Zephyr-G swoop wasn't the fastest one.
In order to raise his productivity the Cartel started to train him as a pilot for a starfighter. Ray wasn't the best pilot the Cartel had. Somehow however he succeeded the training. For his first courier mission as a starfighter pilot he got V-wing fighter with Q7-N9 "Queeni" as his astromech droid.
During this courier missions for the Cartel, the young and inexperienced pilot Richard Dune crashed the V-wing. Richard and Queeni were found by John Cassidy. After Cassidy paid Richard's debt —caused by the crashing of the V-wing— off to the Cartel, Richard and Queeni became crew members of the Stoke.

Richard as a business man for CCS
In 33 BBY Richard Dune joined Cassidy Courier Services as a crew member on the Stoke. During his time on the Stoke he learned a lot of things from John Cassidy. He eventually rose through the ranks and became the First Mate.
He continued to work for CCS when John Cassidy began to think about expanding his company. Richard got the opportunity to become the Captain of the Twin Sun the second R10C Consular-class cruiser.
Galactic Civil War – Alliance Support Services[]
There were several employees hoe joint up with the Rebellion, still in the begin of the civil war CCS tried to hold a neutral position against the Empire and the Rebellion. However after the Destruction of Alderaan and the attack on CCS space station the CCS joined the Alliance. The transports ships of CCS played an imported role in the Alliance Support Services. Richard Dune commanded the Twin Sun during the service for the Alliance Support Services. the Twin Sun was one of the view well equipped bulk transport ships in the ACC fleet and mainly used for efficient transport of bulk items such as fuel, food and medical supplies. Still however Richard Dune and the Twin Sun participated at least in three battles.
