The "Rezn'arian Mining Company", or simply the "RMC", was established in 35 ABY by a Rezn'arian architect by the name of Finnila Matsera. Matsera began the company from scratch after rare crystals were found buried under the ground. About 100 workers began digging and eventually became rich. They used the wealth to build the company until it dominated Rezn'arian economy.
The Company was severly damgaged by the effects of the Force War and the invasion of Rezn'a by the Jeeno. Work stopped and didn't resume fully until several years after the war.
