Reyus Kallo was a Human male from Coruscant. Born impoverished, Kallo worked hard at school, coming top of his class and easily finding employment as an aide to several Coruscanti businessmen. At the young age of twenty-two, Kallo founded his own company, Kallo Enterprises, which soon cornered the market in communications and household appliances. Reyus Kallo was soon extremely wealthy, and his rags-to-riches story made him one of the more talked about residents of 500 Republica. At the age of twenty-seven, he married Ira Organa, the daughter of a wealthy politician from Alderaan. Later, she bore him a son, Aryn Kallo, whom they discovered was Force-sensitive. Reyus agreed to give his son to the Jedi Order and continued to pursue his business interests.
Later in life, Kallo altered the output of Kallo Enterprises to include weaponry and, in competition with Czerka Corporation, sold arms and armament to the Republic during the Mandalorian Wars, a conflict in which his son, now a Jedi Knight, was taking part under the leadership of a Jedi Knight named Revan. Later, Kallo continued to supply weapons to the Republic when Revan returned leading a Sith Empire of his own, in which Kallo's son was a Dark Jedi.
After the war, Kallo turned his attention from business to politics, becoming the Senator for Coruscant while his wife took over the running of Kallo Enterprises. Kallo proved to be an able and popular Senator, being re-elected five consecutive times before dying in office in 3,931 BBY.
