Rex, formerly designated CT-7567, was a Clone Captain in the 501st Legion and later Clone Commander in the 332nd Company. Unlike most of his kind, he removed his inhibitor chip to cancel Order 66 in favour of the Jedi Order.

Rex looked like any other clone trooper when he was young.
CT-7567 was created with the genetic material of Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett, like all other clone troopers. He eventually took the nickname "Rex". He was trained to be a Clone Captain.
