The Rebrum system was a star system towards the edge of the Outer Rim Territories that held a total of three planets, of which one remained inhabited.

The system's name came from the Old Morsian word for red, being 'rebrum' named after the Red Giant star that the system orbited around

Planets[]

The closest planet to the central Red Giant sun Rebrum Gigantum was a volcanic red planet that contained many volcanoes and lava lakes, with an average surface temperature of over 500 degrees centigrade. The atmosphere of the planet was filled with ash, fire and brimstone, giving the planet a glow and fiery looking appearance from orbit.

The second planet of the system was Sol Infinius, so named by the Morsian explorers who discovered it due to its long days that made the sun seem infinite from the surface. The planet was inhabited by both human and Twi'lek civilisations, though this only occurred after the star had entered its Red Giant phase. Before this, the planet was more temperate with deep, large oceans and smaller continents. When the star entered its Red Giant phase, most of the water evaporated from the surface, giving rise to shallow oceans and most surface life died from the increasing surface temperatures and lack of water. The surface temperature increased due to the closer, more hot sun and due to no surface life, all continents became barren deserts and mountains. The rotation and orbit of the planet slowed, giving long, hot days and cold nights.

The final planet was a super gas giant, dark red with a central band around the middle. A constant storm blew around this central band as the super gas giant orbited the star.
