The Rapier combat bike was a type of fast combat motorized bike used by the Death's Tongue Militia during the Cruentusian War. Introduced late in the second year of the war, the vehicle was designed mostly by kidnapped designers of Simiyar Tech, whose families were held hostage. Fast, and equipped with enough armor to shrug off small-arms fire, the Rapier was nominally equipped with rear-placed missile launchers, although they could easily be replaced with other weapons, which were usually mortars or heavy machineguns. The bike was very versatile in terms of role, as it could be used as scouting, relaying messages, patrol, and frontline attack, and it suited the DTM's hit-and-run tactics perfectly. Nonetheless, it was initially comparatively rare amongst the DTM forces, and commanders refrained DTM suicide bombers from using it.
