Ralia was born on Coruscant in 24 BBY into the family of a Republic admiral and Senator Feleda Arryn. Both her parents transitioned to Imperial service following the Proclamation of the New Order. She was never eager to attend an academy or go into the military and preferred spending time with friends instead.

At her parents' funeral, she was approached by Wullf Yularen, a close friend of her father, who she asked if she could join the Academy despite being a year younger than the standard admission age. Despite being the youngest cadet in her class, Ralia worked hard and made it to the top of her class. She would stay up late and developed the habit of overworking herself for her cause. Some of the classes she elected were Interrogation Techniques and Security Protocols that were required for a career in COMPNOR.

She would stay up late and developed the habit of overworking herself for her cause. Some of the classes she elected were Interrogation Techniques and Security Protocols that were required for a career in COMPNOR. Her friends worried for her after she would stay up all night revising and sometimes doubted whether the ISB would be a good fit for her.

During her last year of training, Arryn was invited to attend the yearly ball at the Imperial Palace, where the top of the graduating class would meet high ranking officers and other prominent Imperials. At the ball, she shared a dance with General Drace Killian, who would become Director of the Bureau in the future.

Arryn was later selected for the ISB's highly competitive internship in the Coruscant underworld, and interned under Darius Brexel, an ISB major with a love for native traditions and exotic weapons. After his death on duty, Arryn chased down the assailant and killed her first victim out of revenge with Brexel's own weapon.

Upon graduation, Arryn was stationed at the ISB Headquarters on Coruscant, from where she would be dispatched on missions to assist senior staff. Before she could handle interrogations herself, she was tasked with taking care of IT-O Interrogator and bringing the senior officers caf during longer sessions. Field work wasn't usually her specialty, but, as part of Investigations, she would sometimes be sent offworld to collect data and bring in prisoners.

One of the missions to an Outer Rim world, while accompanying Senior Agent Meeko, Arryn's shuttle was shot at and the group was forced to land on an unfamiliar planet, where they were ambushed by the very group of rebels they were sent to destroy. Sustaining heavy casualties, the Imperials won the fight and even captured two of the insurgents, but Agent Meeko died in Arryn's arms, marking yet another loss she would have to deal with.

Staying loyal
After the events of 0 BBY, some Imperials, including Ralia's old academy roommate Keshani Farla, began questioning the methods of the Empire, especially the The Disaster of Alderaan. Ralia was furious after the destruction of the Death Star, which fueled her hatred for the Rebel Alliance even more, but received an encrypted holocall from Keshani, in which the latter told her she was unhappy with the Empire and couldn't continue to serve such a government. Betrayed and shocked, Ralia was forced to choose between the Empire and her friend and ultimately reported Keshani to the ISB, but the betrayal left her feeling empty and disillusioned.

Nine months after the Battle of Yavin, Arryn had been promoted to Commander, as a lot of staff had been lost aboard the Death Star. On a mission overseen by Darth Vader himself, having successfully retrieved intel about a stolen Imperial shipment, Arryn was on her way to report to her superior, Colonel Harik, but instead found him being strangled by the Dark Lord for failing this task himself and passing it over to her. Terrified by what she had seen, Arryn still reported to Vader, who then cleared her to proceed with an operation to return the shipment and promoted her to Colonel.

Assassination attempt
Due to her reputation, Arryn was loathed by the rebels and especially Saw Gerrera's Partisans, who she had been relentlessly pursuing in her sector. In 1 ABY, one of the partisans was captured and interrogated by her, which caused another one to infiltrate her Destroyer and attempt to stab her in her quarters. Thankfully, she had time to react and fought back with her electrostaff, besting the assassin after a long fight. She had him taken down to an interrogation cell and used her IT-O Interrogator, nicknamed Zappy, on him, while also finding out the name of her parents' murderer who happened to be in the same partisan cell. Arryn then tortured the assassin to death while plotting her next move.

After the incident, the Colonel was given personal Death trooper bodyguards for increased security.

When she had the name of her parents' murderer, Arryn tracked him down to a small planet called Maridun. The Partisans were overwhelmed and rounded up, and she separated Druk Afu from the crowd to have a one-on-one duel with him. Afu couldn't repel the blows of her electrostaff and was eventually defeated. Arryn then made him watch as her troopers execute the surviving Partisans; one of them turned out to be Afu's brother and she killed him herself to make him suffer. The base had a Clone Wars era containment field that the extremists used on their prisoners. Arryn had Afu placed inside his own device and tortured him to near death before killing him with her staff. She then watched as the entire base was wiped out by AT-ST fire, laughing as the building collapsed in flames.

Insanity
  +
At some point in 3 ABY, Arryn's Star Destroyer was ambushed by the rebels to rescue a friend of theirs. To prevent them from detonating bombs and blowing up the hangar bay, Arryn suggested to duel one of their leaders, Lady Aithriel. She was initially winning the fight with her electrostaff until she missed a lunge and lost an arm to her opponent's sword. Aithriel was about to kill her, but accidentally stepped on the detonator, setting off the timer. Before the hangar exploded, both rivals were dragged to safety by their men. The injured Arryn screamed at her troopers to let her die in the blast so that more of them could escape, but was taken to safety before passing out from blood loss.

  +
After the explosion, Arryn spent time in a bacta tank to recover, blaming herself for her failure. She mulled over her defeat and humiliation for hours but then visited the main section of the medical bay to see the amount of deaths and injuries the explosions caused. She ordered a prosthetic arm fit with special interrogation tools and swore to avenge every single death tenfold. Once her arm was ready, she tried it on and burst out in slow laughter, unable to hold back the anger and trauma building up in her.

Her personnel were extremely worried about her state, as she had become unpredictable and would shift moods between crying for hours to swearing death on every single rebel in the galaxy. She eventually took a small vacation on Coruscant to clear her mind, but it only damaged her more as she had to discuss the events of the hangar with Bureau command, as well as visit her parents' graves and her old family home. In the end she gave in to her condition as there was no point in fighting it. This made her slowly lose what few morals she had remaining and become more violent and unstable, especially with any rebels involved.

Prior to the Battle of Endor, Arryn, as a rather important figure in her sector, had the chance to greet the Palpatine aboard the Second Death Star along with hundreds of other officers. She then departed to the Vindicator which was stationed next to a small planet next to a commonly used hyperspace route, guarding it in case of a rebel escape. However, during the actual battle, the comms officers promptly lost contact with the Second Death Star, and the Destroyer was left in outer space with no way to keep in touch with the rest of the Empire. After a while they picked up a signal from Grand Moff Randd, who informed them of what had happened on Forest Moon of Endor. Hearing the news about the Emperor and Darth Vader, as well as the loss of millions of personnel, devastated her, since the Empire was everything she had left.

After Endor Arryn found out that the ISB Headquarters had been taken by forces of the Rebellion, and she was likely to be one of the only surviving prominent Bureau members. Because of this she did not participate in the Battle of Jakku. Randd had told her that she would be valuable after the Empire's revival. After Jakku had been lost, though, she regrouped with the scattered Imperial remnant in the Queluhan Nebula. In 7 ABY, the Vindicator was sent to retrieve some supplies at an outpost on the edge of the nebula, and came under attack of the New Republic. Arryn had stayed on board, but one of her agents, Carla Starfire, was sent down along with a unit of troopers to pick up those supplies. After the appearance of enemy ships, the Destroyer received an order to retreat and jumped to hyperspace without being able to pick up the agent. The signal had been jammed, and the coordinates of the rest of the remnant remained unclear, which was why the Vindicator could not find them.

Several days later, Arryn watched a New Republic HoloNet News broadcast of Carla's trial, false accusation and execution. Outraged and hateful, she ordered her captain to locate the nearest New Republic ship and perform a surprise attack, retreating as soon as the ship was destroyed. The practice became a habit. The Vindicator lived up to its name, dropping into realspace, firing on an enemy, and jumping to hyperspace again. These attacks were an act of defiance to the Republic, its policies and disarmament, and soon earned Arryn the nickname Imperial Dagger thanks to both the Destroyer's shape and its swift sneak attacks. The Galactic Senate (New Republic) was aware of who was behind the title, but their attempts to capture Arryn proved fruitless.

After a run-in with the New Republic, the smaller vessels in Arryn's remnant were destroyed and the Vindicator was forced to retreat into the Unknown Regions. There it wandered for several years between a set of planets before being forced out under a threat of the population alerting the New Republic. The ship's supplies soon ran out and the crew began starving. Many died in the months of hunger. Arryn would give her rations away to the weakest members of the crew and attempted to keep up the morale as much as she could.
After years of surprise attacks on Republic ships, the Vindicator was damaged in a run-in, and forced to retreat to the very edge of the Unknown Regions, further than they'd ever gone. The ship was low on supplies, fuel and energy, and had lost a lot of pilots and crew in the years. With no communication with other survivors, Arryn had no idea whether the remnants were still active or had been destroyed.

Upon her arrival to First Order territories, Arryn was called into a meeting with Grand Admiral Rae Sloane, General Brendol Hux and other commanders, where they expressed their content with her survival and offered her the position of Director in the recently founded First Order Security Bureau. She structured the Bureau to resemble the ISB as she remembered it.

  +
Despite not being in the official "ruling triumvirate" of the Order that consisted of Armitage Hux, Phasma and Kylo Ren, Arryn would still operate in the shadows, overseeing most decisions. The First Order High Command held a lot of respect for her because of her achievements, life story and reputation, and she was on good terms with most of them and especially General Hux as she could appear intimidating to even Ren, although he never admitted it. She despised Ren and his followers, knowing they had only risen to power due to having the Force.

  +
  +
In 33 ABY General Hal Reumar, serving in the Operations division of the FOSB, attempted to trick Arryn, blame her for multiple failures that he had set up, and have her executed, only to take her position instead. Reumar contacted the local Resistance cell and offered them a deal; he gave them intel about a future shipment of planetary shield components that would complete the construction of Starkiller Base. Thanks to his military rank, he placed Resistance mechanics on twenty Resurgent-class Star Destroyers that would be guarding the shipment route. The mechanics set thermal detonators on the ships. Once the explosions took out the Destroyers, the Resistance fleet would attack the shipment itself, intercepting it before it could reach its Ilum. He would then blame Arryn and have her executed, taking her place; in that outcome he promised the Resistance not to attack their bases in the sector.
  +

However, Arryn foiled the plot shortly after it was devised. The infiltrators were found and killed, the Resistance fleet decimated and the shipment still delivered safely. Ever since the untimely death of her parents she’d undergone a complete transformation. After losing her sanity, Arryn revealed her well-hidden sociopathic side that she had developed over the years. She eventually came to terms with her condition and used it to her advantage, although her personnel were very unnerved by it. Upon joining the First Order, Arryn got mental support and was able to get back into shape to lead the Bureau.

Answer the question. It's too early for you to go mute yet - you haven't even screamed yourself voiceless!
—Colonel Arryn, to a rebel prisoner

Ralia Arryn (commonly known as the Colonel or the Dagger) was a human female who served in the Investigations and Interrogation branches of the Imperial Security Bureau during the reign of the Galactic Empire. She was considered a legend in her field by her fellow Imperials and was ruthlessly efficient in interrogating subjects for intel. She was deceptively sweet and kind when toying with her prisoners, which brought her a fearsome reputation amongst Rebels and Imperials alike.

Following the death of her parents at the hands of Saw's Partisans in 9 BBY, Arryn swore to find the murderer and began her studies at the Royal Imperial Academy to pursue a career in the ISB. She was eventually promoted to Colonel by Darth Vader nine months after the Battle of Yavin. She was placed in command of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Vindicator and tasked with crushing the rebellion in the Quotev sector of the Outer Rim. After losing her right arm in an explosion, Arryn revealed her well-hidden maniacal side, going insane with trauma and bloodlust for revenge.

After the fall of the Empire in 5 ABY, Arryn spent years as an Imperial warlord, hunting and destroying lone Republic ships under the nickname "Imperial Dagger". She was forced to retreat into the Unknown Regions, where she and her men starved to near death, before being rescued by and joining the First Order, where she was offered the rank of Director of the First Order Security Bureau. She once again became a feared and cold-blooded commander with no qualms about destroying anything in her way to victory.

During the uprising against the First Order, Arryn and her crew attempted to survive for as long as they could on board the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer Ultimatum. In a last stand against the victorious Resistance forces, the Destroyer was damaged, and, ordering her crew to abandon ship, Arryn stayed on the bridge and watched the Ultimatum crash into the surface of a planet, killing her in the collision.

Biography

Early life

Ralia was born on Coruscant in 24 BBY into the family of a Republic admiral and a senator, Borgan and Feleda Arryn. Both her parents transitioned to Imperial service following the Proclamation of the New Order. She was never eager to attend an academy or go into the military and preferred spending time with friends instead.

In 9 BBY, returning from an event at the Galaxies Opera House, Ralia and her parents were ambushed by a man in a hooded cloak, who shot both her parents after calling them "Imperial dogs". Having witnessed the scene, Ralia swore to serve the Empire in the name of her parents and find the murderer. At her parents' funeral, she was approached by Wullf Yularen, a close friend of her father, who she asked if she could join the Academy despite being a year younger than the standard admission age. Yularen promised to look into it and kept his word. The Academy officials recognised the promise in her, and she was offered a place in the newest enrolling class.

Academy training

I want to find the one person who held the blaster. How I do it doesn’t matter.
—Ralia explains her choice of classes to her roommates

Despite being the youngest cadet in her class, Ralia worked hard and made it to the top of her class. She would stay up late and developed the habit of overworking herself for her cause. Some of the classes she elected were Interrogation Techniques and Security Protocols that were required for a career in COMPNOR.

During a brief exchange, he let her know that she would go far and excel at her future path if she kept up the work.

ISB Service

Upon graduation, Arryn was stationed at the ISB Headquarters on Coruscant, from where she would be dispatched on missions to assist senior staff. Before she could handle interrogations herself, she was tasked with taking care of interrogation droids and bringing the senior officers caf during longer sessions. Field work wasn't usually her specialty, but, as part of Investigations, she would sometimes be sent offworld to collect data and bring in prisoners.

Promotion to Colonel

Ralia arryn

Arryn shortly after her promotion.

Nine months after the Battle of Yavin, Arryn had been promoted to Commander, as a lot of higher ranking staff had been lost aboard the Death Star and needed to be replaced.

After completing the assignment, Arryn reported back to the ISB Headquarters, where she was officially given her new rank plaque and a Mid Rim station. Several months later, upon successfully completing that assignment, she was placed in command of the Vindicator and assigned to crush resistance in the Quotev sector of the Outer Rim. The rebel cell she was after was led by a Mandalorian who went by Commander Damian and a Serenno noble, Aithriel Reyvaris.

Assassination attempt

Lies... Deceptions. Isn’t that what Saw Gerrera used to say to his prisoners? Listen to me, friend. There are no more lies. There are no more deceptions. Not for you, at least. And there is no more dream. Welcome to your nightmare.
—Arryn tortures the assassin

Due to her reputation, Arryn was loathed by the rebels and especially Saw Gerrera's Partisans, who she had been relentlessly pursuing in her sector. In 1 ABY, one of the partisans was captured and interrogated by her, which caused another one to infiltrate her Destroyer and attempt to stab her in her quarters. Due to her quick instincts, she had time to react and fought back with her electrostaff, besting the Rodian assassin after a long fight. She had him taken down to an interrogation cell and used her IT-O Interrogator, nicknamed Zappy, on him, while also finding out the name of her parents' murderer - Druk Afu - who happened to be in the same Partisan group. Arryn tortured the assassin to death for a sense of catharsis while plotting her next move. After the incident, the Colonel was given personal death trooper bodyguards for increased security.

Finding the murderer

Insanity

Post-Endor

Into hiding

Prior to the Battle of Endor, Arryn, as a rather important figure in her sector, had the chance to greet the Emperor aboard the Second Death Star along with hundreds of other officers. She found Palpatine even more frightening than she'd expected him to be, even if he didn't speak to her personally. She then departed to the Vindicator, which was stationed over a small planet next to a commonly used hyperspace route, guarding it in case a rebel ship escaped the Empire's trap. However, during the actual battle, the comms officers promptly lost contact with the Second Death Star when it exploded, and the Destroyer was left in outer space with no way to keep in touch with the rest of the Empire. Hearing the news about the Emperor and Darth Vader, as well as the loss of millions of personnel, devastated her, since the Empire was everything she had left.

Queluhan Nebula Remnant

After Endor Arryn found out that the ISB Headquarters had been taken by forces of the Rebel Alliance, and she was likely to be one of the only surviving prominent Bureau members. Because of this she did not participate in the Battle of Jakku. Randd had told her that she would be valuable after the Empire's revival. After Jakku had been lost, though, she regrouped with the scattered Imperial remnant in the Queluhan Nebula. Randd promoted her to the rank of Inspector General, since the fate of the Bureau's High Command was unknown.

Arryn's ISD, the Vindicator

Today, this Star Destroyer lives up to its name. We are not surrendering. We are getting our revenge.
—Inspector General Arryn to her captain

In 7 ABY, the Vindicator was sent to retrieve some supplies at an outpost on the edge of the nebula, and came under attack of the New Republic. Arryn had stayed on board, but one of her agents, Carla Starfire, was sent down along with a unit of troopers to pick up those supplies. After the appearance of enemy ships, the Destroyer received an order to retreat and jumped to hyperspace without being able to pick up their men.

Arryn became the leader of her own Imperial remnant. The Vindicator lived up to its name, reverting to realspace, firing on an enemy, and jumping to hyperspace before it could be tracked down. These attacks were an act of defiance to the Republic, its policies and disarmament, and soon earned Arryn the nickname Imperial Dagger thanks to both the Destroyer's shape and its swift sneak attacks. The Senate soon became aware of who was behind the title and placed a high bounty on her head, but their attempts to capture Arryn proved fruitless.

Stranding in the Unknown Regions

After a run-in with the New Republic, the smaller vessels in Arryn's remnant were destroyed and the Vindicator was forced to retreat into the Unknown Regions. There it wandered for several years between a set of planets before being forced out under a threat of the population alerting the New Republic. The ship's supplies soon ran out and the crew began starving. Many died in the months of hunger. Arryn would give her rations away to the weakest members of the crew and attempted to keep up the morale as much as she could.

In 27 ABY, the ISD's comms picked up an Imperial signal, and the Vindicator arrived on First Order territory. She had been presumed dead and her arrival came as a surprise to everyone present. Arryn placed her trust in the Order and hoped that it would be able to if not restore the Empire as it had been, then at least avenge it. Her crew was taken care of and fed, restoring hope that they could win the war.

First Order

FOSB Director

Arryn picrew

Arryn in her signature First Order coat

Upon her arrival to First Order territories, Arryn was called into a meeting with Grand Admiral Rae Sloane, General Brendol Hux and other commanders, where they expressed their content with her survival and offered her the position of Director in the recently founded First Order Security Bureau. She structured the Bureau to resemble the ISB as she remembered it.

Foiling a plot

Your death may be respited hours or days at my discretion. I am patient. I will savor its taste. You, on the other hand, will be yearning for it.
—Director Arryn interrogating Reumar

In 33 ABY General Hal Reumar, serving in the Operations division of the FOSB, attempted to trick Arryn, blame her for multiple failures that he had set up, and have her executed, only to take her position instead. Reumar contacted the local Resistance cell and offered them a deal; he gave them intel about a future shipment of planetary shield components that would complete the construction of Starkiller Base. Thanks to his military rank, he placed Resistance mechanics on twenty Resurgent-class Star Destroyers that would be guarding the shipment route. The mechanics set thermal detonators on the ships. Once the explosions took out the Destroyers, the Resistance fleet would attack the shipment itself, intercepting it before it could reach its target. He would then blame Arryn and have her executed, taking her place; in that outcome he promised the Resistance not to attack their bases in the sector.

However, Arryn foiled the plot shortly after it was devised. The infiltrators were found and killed, the Resistance fleet decimated and the shipment still delivered safely. Arryn then surprised Reumar with her knowledge of the case and ordered him to be arrested. She interrogated him personally for Resistance and Republic intel. Three days later she executed him publicly, showing the entire Bureau what she did to traitors.

Hosnian Cataclysm

Director

Arryn was the mastermind behind the Hosnian Cataclysm

...The Hosnian system. The heart of the New Republic. If we target it now, before they know the true power that this machine holds, they will have no time to react, let alone fight back. Strike at the heart, and the body will fail. It is the surest way - the only way.
—Director Arryn regarding Starkiller Base

After Arryn was informed about Starkiller Base and its intentions in a meeting, she was the first one to suggest targeting Hosnian Prime and its neighbouring planets. She wanted nothing but revenge on a government that had taken away everything she had and people she held close. When the plan was delivered to Snoke by Hux and cleared to proceed, she had no regrets about the lives lost on the Republic's capital planet. On the day of the Hosnian Cataclysm she was present on Starkiller, standing beside Hux as he delivered the speech and watching in awer as the laser fired.

Final Order

Once the First Order had transitioned into the Final Order after Palpatine's return, Arryn was contacted by a hologram of the revived Emperor and pledged herself and the Bureau to him. She did not trust him, as she believed that the Order should be led by experienced military commanders and not Force users. She didn't trust Enric Pryde either and only spoke openly to her closest advisors - Captain Naxus, General Varn and Beckhold Jäger.

In 35 ABY, Arryn wasn't summoned to Exegol due to her agency mostly operating in the shadows, and was left to oversee intelligence and prevent the Resistance from reaching out to the galaxy for help. She was successful and her agents exterminated those who did answer the call, jamming the signal before it could get back to the Resistance. However, at the Battle of Exegol there was a slip up in the Bureau's work and the rebel fleet arrived at the battlefield before it could be stopped.

Death

Go, Captain. Please tell the crew that I could not have dreamed of better companions, and that they mean everything to me... Thank you for everything, Staven. Now go. Live.
—Arryn to Captain Naxus
Arryn's death

Arryn stands on the bridge in her final moments as the Ultimatum is about to crash.

When the battle was lost and rebellions began attacking the remaining fleets of the Order, she moved the Destroyer to a lesser known location, but it still came under attack by the Resistance. In a last stand against their advancing forces, the Ultimatum exterminated most of the enemies, but was ultimately heavily damaged and started falling towards the surface of Er'Kit. Realising what was about to happen, Arryn ordered her crew to abandon ship, while she stayed on the bridge to cover their escape. One of her most trusted advisors, Captain Staven Naxus, attempted to convince her to leave with the rest of the personnel, but she refused, deciding to end her war once and for all. She defended the escape pods using the Destroyer's turbolasers and bought her men time to get to safety. The ship crashed in a way similar to the Inflictor did on Jakku, killing her in the collision.

The few remaining survivors on the side of the First Order, including Naxus, mourned Arryn's death and honored her with a posthumous award, but the rest of the galaxy was relieved to have gotten rid of her. Scavengers would plunder the remainders of the Ultimatum for months to come. Once the ship had crashed and the fires were put out, some Resistance operatives snuck onto the bridge and retrieved what remained of her body. Her customized weapon and prosthetic arm were kept as trophies, while her body was left on display in the nearest town on Er'Kit.

Even despite the cruel aspects of her job, she preferred to treat her men fairly. She thought of them as her own family, and was willing to sacrifice herself for them. She despised those Imperials who defaced the Empire by being needlessly brutal or corrupt.

After losing her sanity, Arryn revealed her well-hidden sociopathic side that she had developed over the years. This helped her to push all her morals aside, going as far as suggesting the destruction of entire systems out of the pure need to cause pain. She eventually came to terms with her condition and used it to her advantage, although her personnel were very unnerved by it. Upon joining the First Order, Arryn got mental support and was able to get back into shape to lead the Bureau.

Equipment and abilities

Gear

In the Empire, Arryn's weapon of choice was an electrostaff with a silver hilt and teal electric currents. She was also proficient with a blaster, but almost never used one, preferring the staff for extra agility and speed in melee combat. She trained herself in using an electrowhip, a vibrosword, and double blades. Her IT-O interrogator, Zappy, was by her side most of the time. After joining the First Order, Arryn began using a modified version of the electrostaff with sharp blades that could slice instead of just shocking. Her cybernetic arm was a weapon in itself.

Abilities

Arryn was familiar with all kinds of interrogation techniques, from the most basic IT-O to more complicated droids and all their devices. It was rumored that she could disassemble and reassemble any of these droids with her eyes closed. She was very familiar with truth serums, electroprods, and interrogation chair components. Arryn also used manipulation and psychological pressure such as the exploitation of prisoners' fears. Her cybernetic arm was also useful in coercive interrogation.

Arryn was a skilled fighter with various types of weapons. She favored an electrostaff, but was also proficient with an electrowhip, sword, mace, and other similar melee weapons, most of which she picked up as trophies off her defeated opponents.

Upon becoming Director, Arryn didn't have time to conduct interrogations herself, but she appointed her most trusted specialists to do the job, and would visit them and offer extra help when she felt the need to. Arryn was a persuasive public speaker and an excellent strategist, which helped her avoid being captured for twenty years and constantly boost the morale of the Vindicator's crew.
