Rakavestimas (/'rɒ.kɒ.vɛ'stiː.mɒs/), from the Murese Sith compound word meaning "Guiding Hand,"[1][2] was the name used by the Murese to refer to their religious conception of the the Force. Like their genetic cousins, the Sorcerers of Tund, the Murese embraced the Living Force and Unifying Force paradigms on account of their Rakata cultural heritage,[3] positing that the Force was a sentient or semi-sentient Boltzmann brain composed of all living things that ordered all happenings in the universe to its will. As a result, their unique Force traditions were more religious and worship-based than those of other cultures, such as the Jedi and Sith, and involved more sacred elements, rites, and traditions than those orders.
