During the Clone Wars, Jedi General Rahm Kota commanded a squad of Antarian Rangers who engaged in various clandestine missions. Among the squad was the Mandalorian Naastau, who joined the squad in exchange for pardon from his crimes as a Black Sun assassin.

The squad consisted of at least ten Antarian Rangers, each armed with DC-15A blaster carbines and AR-1 blaster rifles. They wore black clothes with chest rigs or bandoleers. Some members also specialized in using explosives and vibroblades.
The squad's ship and headquarters was a modified CR-20 troop carrier, which was painted dark grey.

The squad only existed for a few months throughout 20 BBY.
Among their missions included a sabotage mission to Donovia, the rescue of an important researcher from a Lucrehulk-class battleship, another rescue mission involving the liberation of an imprisoned Jedi Padawan, retaking the Weather Modulation Control Center on Coruscant, and participating in the Battle of Humbarine. Most of the squad was killed at Humbarine during an orbital bombardment, though Kota and Naastau survived. While Kota returned to the front lines, Naastau defected to serve Count Dooku as an agent.
Another surviving member remained Kota's lieutenant into the Imperial era as part of his rebel militia.
