R5-L3 was a slightly modified R5 series astromech droid owned by Bisloy Santo.
Biography[]
R5-L3 worked at a cantina until 5 BBY, when he became owned by Bisloy. He helped the Rebel Alliance. But after the battle of endor, the cantina became very popular with a holographic RPG like game and the Rebel alliance would use the cantina to win card canes and thus getting credits, which gave L3 a part-time job there. The 15 years before the force awakens he had to work there because of Bisloy's carbonite freezing 3 years prior to this. He was modified so that he could hold 2 memory slots rather than one for easy switching. He had 3 memory slots in all, the first one being before he got taken in by Bisloy. This one was erased.
