Pyrondi was a Human woman who served the Galactic Empire and Empire of the Hand.
Biography[]
Early career[]
Nothing was known of Pyrondi's childhood. She enrolled in the military during the Clone Wars. By 19 BBY, when the Empire was founded, Pyrondi served as chief weapons officer aboard the Admonitor under Senior Captain Thrawn.
Empire of the Hand[]
She went on to join the Empire of the Hand, founded by Thrawn in 14 BBY.
By 5 ABY, she was serving as a Senior Captain commanding Task Force Grathon. During the Liberation of Oristrom, Grathon, her flagship, was destroyed, though she survived.
The fate of Pyrondi is unknown. She was alive in 25 ABY, having assisted Admiral Faro during the Vong war, but she was never heard from again. It is possible that she was killed in combat with the Vong.
Behind the scenes[]
Pyrondi was originally in the canon novel Thrawn by Timothy Zahn. She was adapted into Legends for the short story The Liberation of Oristrom. Her fate may be established in future works, but for now the author wants to keep her story open ended.
